These are some detail pics we shot with Nick the other day. It's funny that every time we stand somewhere watching people pass by, waiting something to catch our eye and, when we see it, the camera starts clicking away!I am in love with the first pic Nick snapped! If the black jacket won't make her stand out, surely the purple beanie will!

The way the red knit is tucked in the trousers reminds me some streetstyle photos of Jac, because this is where I first saw this trend.Most preferably I like this trend with a crisp-white shirt buttoned-up and tucked in high-waisted shorts (so Alexa Chung, I know!), but since the weather won't let us go out bare-legged, I guess we have to wait till Spring!

In a hopeless place

There's no question about which winter shoes rule this winter!It's the UGG boots of course!Wua!They are everywere!Even if it's said to be one the worst things that happend in fashion history, along with the harem pants, they deserve to be on every girl's shoes collection.Can you believe that they are worn as house-shoes in Australia? This girl is dressed in the best casual way without a thing going out of the limits.And when we saw this Baleciaga bag we were like "ok this has to be in our blog". What do you think of the look? Take Me To Your Spaceship

 

Remember when we talked about the wow factor in a previous post? Well this is exactly what we meant! Go for the spaceship-silver shoes for a total black look and you have it! Lately, I have an obssesion with backpacks, but I never thought I'd see something so unusual like this and exactly this is what I love about fashion.The magic that it hides in every of its pieces makes me want to discover all its lengths and I'm so happy we get to achieve that with this blog. Best Thing I Never Had

Today was our third shooting day with Nick and it gets better and better every time!Winter isn't an obstacle for us to find great style! Layering is a perfect way to stay warm but also stylish at the same time. Like in this case here, if one grey top is not warm enough, why not wear two over those khaki pants? If you know how to balance it ,it's easy.Finish your look with a stunner piece like this deep-green fur and  Voilà! you are ready to magnetize. Truth be told, she looks amazing!

Dsquared Spring/Summer 2012

Definitely one of the most anticipated shows in Milan's fashion week is Dsquared.I still ask myself why the the shows are held in Milan.Dean&Dan are Canadian and you can see by their designs that the style is so not Italian.The last S/S show for example,brought me to Britain.Glastonbury festival to be exact.Shorts,comfortable t-shirts and welly boots to avoid the mud that overflowed the catwalk.Yeah that's what Glastobury is about.Paws up for the "Heineken"beer the models were holding.

Man It up

It's high time we put some men in this blog, don't you think? Don't get me wrong, it's not that I don't like the girls we shoot, but I think Munich has a great sense of Men Streetstyle that it  equally deserves to be represented in this blog. So about this look,  if you think about it seperately, it is just a shirt, jeans and a trench. But look how greatly they are all put together, so effortlessly, and the outcome is so preppy and good-to-watch. I think though that the epitome of the whole outfit are the glasses.They give this geek-chic touch,which catches my eye and will make me stare.

PS.  I don't know if you guys have noticed, but it's been three weeks since the launch of the blog and each day of them has been amazing! It's so nice that, although we are new to this,  we have some lovely readers from all around the world visiting our blog every day. Thank you!:)

Papa was a Rolling Stone

These are some extra details from the look of Priscilla we posted the other day. The detail of the bow at the back of the coat is so sweet. It gives a romantic tone to the whole outfit and combined with the two seams the coat becomes so feminine. Then, the patern of the shirt reminds me of the Chloé Collection RTW Fall 2011, which I find so chic.Hannah MacGibbon is doing a great job there and she never fails to excite us!Now thanks to Zara we can all follow that trend with a lower budget.What is this trend you follow straight from the runways?

I told you I was trouble

First of all,I want to talk about the Aviator Sunglasses.Did you know that they were developed back in 1936 in order to protect Pilot's eyes when flying? Τhis model though became mostly popular after "Top Gun" was realised.(Tom Cruise remember?).Since then it has become a wordwide phainomenon.It's an old-time classic pair of sunglasses, which can be combined with all kind of styles.This woman reminds me of a modern Addrey Hepburn in the 20s.The bag has the perfect colour and size for this outfit and, on top of that, the stockings make the outfit ultra-stylish.

It's all I need to rise

As a total bag addict, how could I not notice these two iconic bags? For me a bag is what makes the outfit. It's the extension of a woman's hand, so it has to be amazing! Still though, the rest of these two outfits are equally amazing with the "Lady Dior" and "Hermes bag" respectively. Yellow pants in winter time? Heck yeah! And did you notice that the sleeves of the outwear are dark blue and the main body grey? Genious!! With so many colors in a single outfit someone could go so wrong, but in our case she couldn't pull it better. And moving to the second picture, this little fur prada touch is a killer combination with the bag!

Same script Different cast

This is why I like blogging.It's because I love photographing everything that ispires me.This blog has become more addictive than I ever expected. I drow inspiration from people like Tommy Ton and Scott Schuman.I am amazed from the pictures they shoot in the fashion capitals and I am super excited when I get to shoot likely styles.I try to find people who are not only well dressed ,but also show their Lifestyle by their outfits.This woman's look is so not "Munich" and that's what I liked.It's something different,something unique.You don't get to see such looks everyday.Maxi skirt in November?I wouldn't have thought it but somehow it takes my breath away!

Rule The Streets

As we were walking with Nick to the nearest subway in order to head back home, we passed from the Virtualienmarkt just in case we found some good streetstyle.And then Bang! We saw this one and I was like "I want this on the blog". And Nick - always with his good manners ;) - asked to get a quick photo.There is nothing that I don't like in this pic. Thumbs up for the color of the coat she chose to wear. It's very bold and stands out from the rest. Plus doesn't it remind you the coat from THE ROW Collection for Fall 2011? It's all over the magazines! And what do you think about the bag? I'm totally in love with it, since I used to have a crash on this Balenciaga bag a year ago!

La vie en Rose

Today we went shooting with Electra and don't be fooled by the sun.It was freezin' outside! We asked our friend, Priscilla, to meet us downtown in order to shoot her for the blog. At school she always dresses impecably so it's very nice that we had the chance to shoot her today and we hope you like the outfit as much as we do!In our opinion,the hat was the best choice to perfect the look and that is what it makes it so unique.Apart from that, who can resist those legs with the Louboutin heels?I can't!

Time of the Season

What a perfect day to go for shopping!Nick snapped this pic the day H&M opened its doors to the crazy public in order to buy the Versace clothes.This day, no matter if your outfit cost millions of dollars, the perfect accessory you could have was the Versace for H&M shopping bag. For me though, the best detail of this outfit is not the palm-tree shopping bag she's holding.It's the headband that gets all my attention.It reminds me something of india and the turbans and it makes me fall in love with it. And then my look falls on her over-knees, which I find T H E   B E S T trend of the winter. I've seen a lot of girls in Munich following this trend and I'm just on the verge of doing the same (some Karlie Kloss legs would help!)

Versace for H&M in Munich

 7:50 AM. It's not that I wanted to shop something.I am not a huge fan of Versace neither H&M, but the fact that so many people would be there,made me wanna feel the crazyness of the event.It was very crowded and everyone was shopping like it was the last day of their lives.I'm not supposed to say it,but why so much impression?All the bloggers praised Donatella for the collection,I will not do the same.I didn't like anything of it.Most items looked cheap and not-creative.But what can you do?Fashion is subjective.

Last Night In Durham

This is another streetstyle look ( or may I say two ? ) we snapped with Nick last saturday. If you asked me a week ago if I like capes ,without thinking I'd say no.But this girl paired it so good with the whole outfit, so this put me into thinking.First of all ,it upgrades your outfit and it gives it a pinch of sophistication.Most importantly it makes you look thiner and your legs look longer.  And if I haven't convinced you yet , think that Lanvin dedicated most of his Fall 2011 RTW collection to capes,with the best one been walked by Arizona Muse. So how wrong can someone go with this piece?

PS. I think I'm in love with the right girl's hat !I am obsessing on buying one myself too,but I don't seem to find the right one.Which do you think would be a good shop to search ?

 I know it's been a while since Nick and I last posted a streetstyle look,but last week we were very busy with studying so we didn't go out for shooting.We snapped this pic a week ago at Marienplatz.I really like how her oxfords and skinnies leave her ankles uncovered.I think that the ankles and shoulders are the best part of the a woman's body, because in a way they make her more fragile.

PS:In this pic there was also another woman that posed for us, but she didnt make it to the post. I'm sorry lady.Maybe we snap you some other time :)

D&G flawless ending

When I first heard that the end of  D&G line was about to come,I thought that it is just un-true rumors.But unfortunately it's official and the very last show was held in Milan(where else?)last September.I respect Domenico and Stefano many years now and I was once again impressed by the beauty of this last S/S 2012 collection.From the material to the colours,everything was a m a z i n g !Don't worry though,Dolce&Gabanna and will continue running the MFW.

I've gotta start saving some money to afford some of the last D&G items.Don't you ?

Dion Lee. Desinger to watch.

Dion Lee is a name that the fashion world must keep in the forefront of their stylish brains. With his Spring/Summer 2010-11 collection named “façade”,he is said to have saved the RAFW, which lacked of inspiration. The 24 year-old graduate of the Sydney Institute of Technology left his audience speechless, when he showed his third collection earlier this year at the Sydney Opera House during Rosemount Australian Fashion Week.

If you browse through his last collection, you can see that it was full of colors; from beautiful pastels and vivid blues to refreshing shades of lilac, ivory and violet. The intricate pleating and knotting details at his dresses made his collection beyond interesting, but what I loved the most was the cut-away blazers and the ink-blot digital print on some of the skirts and dresses. Despite of the young of his age, all his clothes were perfectly proportioned and exquisitely finished.

With  the prestigious L’Oréal Melbourne Fashion Festival’s (LMFF) Young Designer Award under his belt and his great craftsmanship his future seems brighter than any star !

Versace for H&M

Yesterday ,the long anticipated Versace for H&M Show took place in New York City.Nicki Minaj,Blake Lively,Jessica Alba,Prince attended the event.I am not a huge fan of Versace , since I think that it doesn't match my aesthetic, but I can say that I really liked the collection and definitely would like to have an item of this interesting collaboration(a leather jacket maybe).It's not the first time a famous label unites it's power with H&M.Christian Louboutin,Lanvin, Stella McCartney, Viktor&Rolf are just a few to name among many others.On the 17th of this month this iconic collection will be in over 300 hundred stores around the world.Better hurry up,because we all remember the chaos that happenned when the Lanvin Collection came out last year!

Oh My God! This is what I said right when I saw this picture from Karlie Kloss shot by Terry Richardson the other day. I fell in love with this YSL jumpsuit when I first saw it during PFW and I am also in love with this model for years now,so these two put together take my breath away and leave me staring at my computer screen. 


If you don't know Karlie yet,wait till 9 November,because,rumor has it, that's the day she will be walking the Victoria Secret catwalk as the new angel. That's right fellows! Get ready to wipe your boyfriend's tears away,since Rosie Huntington-Whitley will hang her wings up and gives her place to the 19 year-old stunner.

Do the Trench

 

As I was rushing to greet my teacher,Electra noticed these two guys standing outside the Armani store and was like "wow".We took the chance and asked them for a snap,and luckily for us,they agreed.I am addicted to these Timberland boat shoes the right one is wearing,and he matched it greatly with the trenchcoat and the scarf.I don't think there is a better way for a man to be dressed, than to be classic & intellectual.This one has it both.

Khaki is everywhere! Yet this blazer has something different that makes it stand out from the rest. It might be the golden buttons or the fact that it reminds us of this coat from Balmain, which Nick and I are in love with.  No matter what it is though, she paired it greatly with  black faux leather pants and a lovely fringed bag ( that unfortunately can't be well seen in this photo.
