Lola Finn

Last Friday we had the change to meet the Munich blogger and future fashion designer  Irina Tschigwinzew.

1.How did you came up with the idea of blogging ?
-Before I started my blog I read a lot of diffrent blogs. The first blogs I ever read were The Sartorialist and The Facehunter of course. Then I was fallen in love with skandinavian fashion bloggers... The beautiful and stylish girls inspired me a lot! Someday I thought,OK, I want a fashion blog, too! I wanted to be so cool and pretty like those girls ;)
But I never copied anybody! That´s a big mistake a lot of blogger do! That´s why the most of them look the same!
It was a little hobby for me for a long time I used to do at night because of my job I had at this time.

2.What are your favourite brands ?
- I love to wear Meltin´Pot and Cheap Monday Jeans! They fit always perfect! I also go to H&M, Zara and Mango like every girl.
But if I would find a treasure or something like this I would love tho wear creations of Rick Owens or Alexander Wang!

3.You are a fashion designer student,How do you imagine yourself after 5-10 years ?
- That´s a big secret! ;)
I will answear this question in 5-10 years!

4.What blogs do you read daily ?
- Those are blogs of girls I know personally!

5.A style advise
- You don´t need to follow each fashion trend! Really.

ESMOD Presentation In Munich

Last Saturday we had the luck to meet up with the lovely Irina (her outfit post is coming soon!) who informed us about the presentation of the graduates of ESMOD in Munich. Well for those wondering, ESMOD is an International Fashion School based in more than 14 countries and of course Munich is one of them. On Friday we went to the showroom where someone could take a look at the clothes and accessories desinged by each gradute and there were so many noteworthy pieces that caught our attention. When in the middle of statement shoes, futuristic clothes and accessories how could a magazine be missing? The lovely Iva started her own magazine called Blass Magazine and her impeccable and proffesional work and can be seen even from the first issue. We do advice you to spend some of your time to go through it!

As for the shoes, I'd be a liar if I said that this pair is not a masterpiece! It wouldn't take me by surpise at all when a fashion editor would walk them down the Tuileries for Paris Fashion Week.

After seeing all the clothes at the showroom I kept going back to this particular pair of Fusk shorts, designed by lovely Johanna, which were love at first sight. Don't ask what I love the most about them, because you will recieve the akward asnwer of " I love everything about them". From the colour to the print, those ethereal shorts are going to haunt my dreams!

Pink Fox

While we love surfing the net for the new hot looks of Kate Moss or Diane Kruger, we always spare some time to scroll down our favorite blogs and this lady's outstanding blog is no exception. Some might know her as Pink Fox, but last Saturday we had the chance to meet her as the lovely Carolin. He highly consider her as the most fashionable femmes of our city, since for quite a while now we keep an eye on her perfectly put-together outfits, which she posts on her blog.  For our meet up, she chose an ensemble with plenty of visual intrigue and a cool breeze, which consisted of a plain stripped shirt and shorts in Polynesian print. While her shorts inject a little bit of paradise into her outfit, we couln't help but notice how sublty she accessorized her outfit. Excessive accessories can easily turn boring, so we are in love with her few golden bracelets here and there, which look perfect with her sports watch. To finish off her outfit and give it a more downtown spin she chose high-heels in the same pallete as her clutch and shorts. We looove it!

The Wanderer

As if she didn't wow us enough with her red dress a few weeks ago (see the post here),we had the chance to run into our goddess once more, last Friday. This time she chose baby pink hues for a  more streamlined aesthetic. We  can't help but love her buttoned up shirt with the studds on the collar, which give a very fresh spin in her outfit. As Nick put it, it's karma  that we met  heragain and, assuming that no one can get enough of her outfits, we hope karma will smile to us again a few times more in the future!

Glowing

Take a look around you while in town and you will find a sea of maxi skirts mostly pleated and in all kind of shades and colours. As much as we love their boho/ethereal feeling, we suggest that injecting some glamour and glitz into your daily outfit with a high-waisted,intricate-printed skirt is also a very enlightening wardrobe idea. The offsetting busy print of the skirt in the vibrant hues was the main reason we spotted this woman. The wisely chosen Isabel Marant kicks were the perfect finishing touch along with the dark blue blazer, which foiled her basic shirt and killer skirt.

Details:Necklaces

I know I am a sucker for statement necklaces, but sometimes discreet pieces of jewellery are simply the best choise.

Intricate Prints

Inspired by the Dolce&Gabbana's latest show, the streets are full of intricate patterns and prints in vivid colours. If just a printed scarf is not enough for you, don't shy away from wearing the trend head-to-toe. Eye-catching and brilliant dresses like this are undoubtably sophisticated and shouldn't be missing from this spring's wardrobe!

Neon Pink

A couple of days ago we teamed up with an online website called WorldFashionBlogs and from now on you can find some of the looks we capture on the streets also there. What is more, some of our looks can also be found at StreetStyleNews .It feels so weird, but  also nice at the same time to see our work on  other websites, among streetstyles from Fashion Weeks and it will take us sometime until we get used to it!

Stars In Skies

Coachella festival last month fueled us with tons of pictures of celebrities, models and singers who attented it and we can't help but draw inspiration from their outfits. A pair of short denim pants  is something common , but when it is embellished with small white stars,it reminds of the american flag and it is a must-have.

Neon Orange

Trends might come and go, but key pieces will always  be the same. Among them, there stands also the white tee, a staple that can be a part of the most easy-going outfit to the most polished. In this outfits, accessories , shoes and bag have the leading role, so invest some time in finding the perfect ones. This neon orange clutch from American Apparel and the leopard wedges can be your partners-in-crime!

Tropical

He is by far the most stylish guy we captured last weekend. He definitely turned the burgundy sweatpants into a statement piece and with his tropical-printed shirt he is ready for the Bahamas or Miami Beach !

Denim

Being surrounded by all the hot, up-and-coming spring trends, sometimes we forget the ones that we will always love and treasure. The old-but-good denim is always the best way to stay classic and it is more of a I-already-have rather than a must-have, so don't push it on the backseat of your daily choises. And speaking of backseats, brown is totally a colour I forgotten that existed and too bad for me! The blue hues work so good with the earthy tones, especially when they come in polka-dots and leopard!

Blooming Meadow

Heave duty-outwear is nice, but breezy sundresses are just too good to ditch for a chunky sweater. I read somewhere that there are only 14 days of real heat in Munich per year(!), which means that there will not be many days that someone can enjoy a breezy blossom dress like this. So when the chance appears, grab it people! This sweetly feminine dress from Mango, stole our heart and mind last Saturday and how could we not spot this blondine stunner? Accessorize yours with a silver cuff or ring for more downtown spin!

Intrigued

Going style-hunting is not a easy as it sounds and definitely is not as we thought it would be when we started. Apart from finding the perfect outifit crossing the street, you have to forsee if it's going to look good in the camera and also cross your fingers that the person is going to take a nice posture. This lady told us she was no photogenic, but gosh look at her!Stunning redhead or what? Her top's relaxed fit in a seasonal shade of green looks so perfect on her body and paired with skinny jeans is a very notable outfit. Light-weight sweaters are indeed the best solution to the chilly spring days and can be incorporated into a myriad of styling options!

Νοémi Matsutani

It has been a while since we spotted actress/model Noemi Matsutani on Maximillian street and you can't imagine the huge smile on our face at that very moment. The Munich folk knows her, but for those you want to know more about her, visit her site simply by clicking here . On that day , she chose a very easy-going, hard-rocker chic outfit which consisted of burgundy pants paired with a black tweed jacket. Of course the hight-fashion kicks of Isabel Marant were not to be missing!

Look à La Audrey Hepburn

This is by far the most admirable look we have captured for a long time now and it has everything we love and cherish in a look. It might not be a get-up-and-go ensemble, but it definitely is laid-back chic. I think the key to the looks unquestionable sophistication is the pajama pants worn with the silver oxfords. The intricate but discreet pattern of blue squares and cyrcles  on the white backround of the pants are a perfect match to the basic crisp-white knit and doll-like shoes. Of course the perls of her necklace make a statement and with her earrings they give a royal feeling to the look; something we've never captured before. And for those who say that black would never go with blue, you can see that she incorporated into her look perfectly the black Birkin bag of the famous luxury House and her tweed jacket.  Charming!
